The Brownsville Yacht Club is a Washington nonprofit boating club and recognized 501(c)(3) charity (EIN 23‑7255778).  BrownsvilleYachtClub.org is the official website and email domain of Brownsville Yacht Club, and is used for all club communications and Google Workspace services.

 

The club has been in continuous existence since 1971.  Membership is open to anyone, regardless of what type of watercraft they own, or whether they have a boat at all!  The club mission is to enhance the boating and water recreation experience at the Port of Brownsville by:

 

1.  Sponsoring events such as Haunted Harbor, Pier Peer, port holiday decorating, etc., as well as organizing volunteer facility cleanup and repair projects

2.  Hosting social events such as summer deck parties and potluck dinners

3.  Organizing group cruises to various destinations, as well as providing opportunities for individuals without their own vessels to spend time on the water

4.  Enabling members to participate in reciprocal moorage agreements with other facilities throughout the Puget Sound and Salish Sea region
