BROWNSVILLE YACHT CLUB
Brownsville Yacht Club is a family club whose purpose is to encourage and promote the sport of yachting and boating, safety on the water, the science of seamanship and navigation, and to afford a means of good fellowship among the community who love the water as sport and recreation. The club operates by and for the participation of its members and conducts various activities year round for the benefit of members and the local boating community. Upon acceptance into the club, new members are encouraged to become involved in the many activities that are offered. Our general membership meetings are on the 2nd Monday of each month (check the calendar for changes) in the BVYC Clubhouse at 7:00PM. Social time gathering starts 6:30pm and visitors and guests welcome. Please come join us!!

CLUBHOUSE
Brownsville Yacht Club is located at Port of Brownsville Marina - one of the most peaceful and attractive marinas on western Puget Sound. We have a cozy and comfortable clubhouse located right at the marina which is available for private use by members, their family and friends, for the purposes of general relaxation and visiting. The clubhouse is also available for private rental as well by members and the public.
CRUISING ACTIVITIES
Our Yacht Club is focused on cruising. We have a very complete twelve month cruise plan for weekend cruises or longer extended trips. These outings always generate new friends, great memories, and fun times. Add to your boating and crusing knowledge!
SOCIAL EVENTS
Having fun doesn't end with cruising on our boats! We have many social activities as well, such as participating in Brownsville Appreciation Day, Haunted Harbor Halloween event, chowder cook-offs, holiday potlucks, super-bowl game days, movie nights, and more! We have fun!

Reciprocal Privileges Brownsville Yacht Club members enjoy reciprocal privileges with over 95 northwest yacht clubs. Cost of Membership
It costs $150 for boat owners and $100 for non-boat owners to join the Brownsville Yacht Club. Yearly dues is $350 for families and $200 for individuals.
Dues are paid in June. Members who join pay pro-rated dues. For example: an individual who joins in March pays $50 (200/12*3) in dues until June 1.

What is a yacht? A yacht is a sail or power-driven vessel, usually private (not a "working" vessel), that is used for pleasure and is typically designed for overnight or long-distance use. As such, it usually has sleeping space (berths or staterooms), cooking space (a galley), and "necessary" space (heads). Size alone does not define a yacht!
